Thinking outside the box

Tuesday, July 27th, 2010

The official blue&white sign reads “NOTICE: DO NOT BLOCK THIS DOOR” . But the door was in the way… Fine, so we won’t block it. Credit for the unusual solution to the problem lies with the locals whose venue this is, of course. Clever boys.

Eight Bells

for a friend to many of us, Albert Lechese, of Audio Analysts, who has passed after a prolonged illness. An engineer, pioneer, and all around good guy, I am glad to have known him. Our prayers are with Mario, the family, and everyone in the AA extended family.

The new stuff is in, so check it out! We have added 2 new designs, while retiring 2 older ones (”Got Points?” and “Caterers can poison you” are virtually sold out and will be retired as soon as they are).

With Apologies: You’ll notice that the newest stuff has not been printed in 3X. I’m sorry to report that because demand for that size has so dwindled, we will not be printing anymore 3X. We sometimes went a year between orders for that size, and it doesn’t make business sense to tie up money with stock that just sits on shelves. We are sure it’s obvious to everyone that for a small business like ours, watching out for exactly that kind of waste is what enables us to keep our shirt prices low while retaining our highest-quality-cotton and flat-shipping-price duel mandates. To our very few 3X customers, we are sincerely sorry.

Keep your eyes peeled…

Rig comes down in Concho, OK

Thursday, July 8th, 2010

Outside Concho OK at the Luck Star Casino where Yes and Frampton were to play, a microburst brought down the stage roof and rig. No touring staff were injured, but some local hands were, none critically.
The local news report:

As usual, we have pictures from friends on the tour.

YouTube: tornado ripping apart Billings Arena this week

Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010

This sucks… Decent arena, probably irreparably destroyed; we played there 24 days ago. At least no one was loading in when this went down. Or up.
