Most Unfortunate

So, at the show last night, the promoter shorted us 12 hands of the 28 scheduled for the out. He then offered the security guys in blue shirts to assist with front of house and truck loading.
Long story short: lidding the lighting desk, the blueshirts nodded affirmatively they’d done all the latches when they’d only done the two top ones visible to the road guy. Lifting it off the table, the lid opened, the console smashed to the ground on the back edge and then flipped forward on its face breaking the center touchscreen. Replacing the touchscreen will not be nearly as expensive as the damaged chassis. Hope they saved a LOT of money on the labor…
